WRITING TASK: MY BOOK OF CHOICE
You are going to write a short text (80-100 words) about the book you have read, posting it on this blog as a comment.
TIPS
1. Write the title of your book of choice.
2. Sctructure: 3-4 short paragraphs
- 1st paragraph: introduce briefly your book by presenting the main character/s and the storyline.
You can begin by "The book is about...", "This book tells the story of...".
- 2nd/3rd paragraph: tell how the story develops, describing the main character/s at the same time. You can use expressions like "At the beginning...", "A long time ago...", "It all began when ...." "The. ...", "Soon after", "Later...", "Shortlly afterwards", "Suddlenly", "All of a sudden", "In the end...", "Finally".
Use past simple to narrate events.
- 3rd/4th paragraph: give your opinion on the book, characters, the story... You can use expressions like "I think/ believe this story...", "In my opinion the main character is...", "I would/wouldnt recommend this book because...".

The book was about a treasure of the sailor Bill. Bill died and his son Jim (principal actor of this story) and his mother ran away from the other sailor with the treasure. Jim went to the Doctor’s house and Jim made a decision. Jim looked for the treasure. Jim got a crew and searched for the treasure. Later set sailed Jim listened the plan of bretayal and drawed up plan against they. At the end of story there fighted between the two sides (The party of traitors and side of Jim)
I recommended this book because it was fun and shorted.
This book tells the story of The Mummy. The Mummy was a priest of the Scorpion king. The Mummy´s girlfriend was also the girlfriend of the Scorpion king. For this reason the king was angry and he killed the Mummy and his girlfriend. A sect of The British Museum became to life the Mummy.
Rick was a famous archaeologist. Rick was searching the Mummy´s pyramid. Rick, his wife Evelyn and his son Alex, travelled to Egypt. There they found a pyramid.
Rick, Evelyn, Alex and Jonathan (Evelyn´s brother) accompanied by a native guide and an American Delegation entered to the pyramid. The American delegation dead except one. Rick and Evelyn fight against The Mummy and his girlfriend and they win. Finally, they go out before the pyramid fall down.
We liked this book a lot because we like adventure books.
